Come and join Ken at the Fort Benton library Wednesday, September 13th as we join Captain Louis Rosche for a night at the Cosmopolitan in the “Bloodiest Block.” There are plenty of tall tales about Madame Dumont and her establishments in Nevada, California, the Black Hills, Bannack, and Virginia City, and these stories are legendary and entertaining, whether true or not. Yet, just one source seems to provide details about her time in Fort Benton. This is the night to hear all about it!
